PBIS recognizes and rewards appropriate behaviors throughout the school, in the classrooms, and on the buses.
KPS Behavior Expectations:
- Be Kind
- Be Strong
- Be Well
Each 9 weeks, the students that have maintained behavior goals attend a celebration as their reward. Each student also receives a brag tag to add to his/her necklace. The tags and celebrations are set by the school PBIS Team.
The KPS Behavior Expectation Matrix is posted throughout KPS. This is a great way for students to be reminded (visually) what the behavior expectations are for the school. See the matrices below.
