Principal's Message

As principal of Kinchafoonee Primary School, I would like to welcome you and your family and thank you for taking the time to become more familiar with our school! Kinchafoonee Primary School envisions a safe learning environment, encouraging and expecting all students to achieve to their fullest potential while experiencing the opportunities of the present and exploring the challenges of the future.  We feel confident that you and your child will have a wonderful experience at KPS.

We are fortunate to have a strong faculty and staff who are dedicated to the ideals that make KPS an exemplary school.  Our goal is to instill in all of our students, a strong academic foundation and to foster in them, a desire to learn through exploration and engagement in school activities. We know that this can only be accomplished with school, family, and the community working together.

We encourage each of you to get involved with your child’s school experience! Research demonstrates that positive parental involvement is the number one factor in determining student success in school.  Parental involvement can take many forms.  First and foremost, parental involvement means getting children to school every day and getting them there on time.  Being present to monitor student homework, providing a quiet place for homework completion and being informed about progress and grades are all important to student success.  We are looking forward to an exciting year of academic and social growth with your child!

Welcome!

Mrs. Pam Willis, Principal
